CounterStrike:Global Offensive or CS:GO is a first-shooter multiplayer video game developed by Valve Corporation and Hidden Path Entertainment. In the Counter Strike series, it is the fourth game. It was released for OS X, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in August 2012 and in September 2014, the Linux version was released. This game has two sides that are pitted against one another, the terrorists and Counter Terrorists. Both the teams have the job to eliminate the other team though the objectives are different. The terrorists have to either plant a bomb or they need to defend the hostages. The counter terrorists, on the other hand, should defuse the bomb; prevent planting of the bomb, or save the hostages.
Eight modes are there in a game and all of them have separate characteristics related to it. The game offers matchmaking support and it allows the players to play on the dedicated servers. It allows the members to have their personal servers with game modes and custom maps. Critics gave positive reviews to this game. It was praised a lot for its faithfulness and overall gameplay. A few of its early features were criticized but the console versions got positive reviews. The reviewers thought that the PC versions and the console versions were different.
A CSGO prime account
Valve introduced CSGO prime accounts as an experiment for finding out whether a player shall be able to compete against the same gamers in a better way who have the prime accounts. This account system is active since 2016. A prime Account is required to separate the gamers in two different categories:
- Gamers who use prime accounts are considered more trustworthy
- Gamers who do not use prime accounts are mostly smurfs and cheaters.
Obtaining a CSGO Prime Account
For obtaining CSGO prime accounts, firstly, you have to confirm your mobile number in the private and steam rank of not less than the 21 level. Apart from this, you may receive a prime account when you have service medal. You have to click on ‘Detail’ menu given at the top of the CS: GO profile menu. Thereafter, you have to click upgrade. If you have more than one account then upgrade your favorite one because you have the option to upgrade just a single one. You can do this just once with your qualifying mobile number.
